I’m really pleased with these — I love stripy socks and these are so cheery and fun. It’s my first time knitting with two colours, so I tried a couple of different methods for achieving jogless stripes — this method won by a mile.

Please ignore my embarrassingly pasty-white legs in this picture. We’ve had a really miserable winter and they haven’t seen the sunlight for quite some time, and I don’t have a skin type which tans well at the best of times. That’s my excuse anyway!
Off out to make the most of the lovely weather — ta ta for now!

I love handknit socks! I like the yarns – they are so pretty and nice to the touch. I like knitting them – they are so portable. And, I like wearing them – they are fun and really, truly warmer than storebought. These look really nice.
wonderful socks! i love them! very beautiful work and beautiful photography. congratulations!
oh how I love noro stripes! I made some ace arm warmers and can’t wait for the weather to cool down a bit so I can wear them!
